A collaboration with my husband Ray Ferrer
A tribute to Frida Kahlo who was a Mexican painter, born in Coyoacán, who is best known for her self-portraits. Is it coincidence that her paint brush points to the date of her death?
Wow, that’s really creepy! I didn’t realize she was pointing to the date of her death! 🙂 Thanks for sharing!
I’m a big fan of some of Kahlo’s work, like Broken Column
Awesome! I’m also a big fan a Kahlo’s. She was quite an intelligent and strong lady.
This is a compelling, almost pop-art treatment. Very interesting and well done. 🙂
Thanks for letting me camp out in your blog for a little while today. I had a great time and tried to leave my campsite as good as when I arrived. I’ll be back!
Frida Kahlo always did fascinate me. Very cool!
This is beautiful – would have loved this for my apartment!

I love Frida. I have framed prints of her in my home and tons of books about her life. Beautiful work in this piece.
